I could see that location possibly being an issue if it were an RDS server. Thanks for the valuable info. I guess what I need to figure out is why I can't find the Vipre installation directory.

I'm hoping there might be some SQL Update statement or something that I could run that might fix this problem. Hi Tim,. A ccording to the error message you have provided, it may be related to reporting permission assignment issue.

Could you please check the permission settings on report manager using the following steps? Click Folder Setting from the Home page. Check the Content Manager role for the account.

Click OK to apply these settings. After completing these steps above, you will have the authority to deploy your report model to the Report Server. For more information about how to publish report model to report server, please refer to the following article,. For more information about how to migrate report service , please refer to the following article,. If you have anything unclear, please feel free to let me know. Thanks, Bill Lu. I tried these steps just now without any luck.

The same error appears. I tried changing the servername to localhost since its the same server as BIDS. I looked at both your links. The migration was completed without a hitch. Everthing seems to be working fine excpt fo this problem.

I'm still wondering though if there is something about migrating from SQL to R2 that brings up this problem. I was thinking maybe some field somewhere in the ReportServer database that isn't there for R2 or a switch that wasn't changed when the SSRS Configuration Manager configured the DB for R2 thru the migration process. Reading thru other people's problems with various issues on SSRS many have said after they made this switch their problems went away. Temporary profiles are only available on computers running Windows and later.

Folder redirection is a client-side technology that provides the ability to change the target location of predetermined folders found within the user profile. This redirection is transparent to the user and gives the user a consistent way of saving their data, regardless of its storage location.

Folder redirection provides a way for administrators to divide user data from profile data. This division of user data decreases user logon times because Windows downloads less data. Windows redirects the local folder to a central location, giving the user immediate access to their data when they save it, regardless of the computer they are using. This immediate access removes the need to update the user profile. First logon to a machine in a server farm is typically slow because of synchronous Group Policy processing, and subsequent logons are faster when Group Policy is asynchronous.
