Bs7671 certificate template

Was so sad as could not see how to provide a decent quality 18th edition document for my customers but now, with many thanks to you, I'm a Very Happymike. GMDemo -. Reaction score 4. First of all thanks to happysteve, you've done a great job with these.

As for what you open them with, if you want to keep them editable it doesn't matter what you open them with, adobe reader, Edge, internet explorer et. Edge seems to have a problem with this method and quite often throws up an error. Oh one other thing; if you want to put your own letterhead on the top of the certificates design your letterhead to fit in the space above and save it as a photo file, tiff, png, jpg etc.

Goto the adobe site and sign up for the Pro version seven day trial. You will have to give payment details so make sure you cancel the subscription before the seven days is up. Before you install the program make sure you create a restore point on your system. I tried other PDF editors and all the ones I tried made a mess of it. The reason I said to create a restore point is because when I uninstalled the program it made a mess of the reader. Luckily I had just created a restore point before I started experimenting with various programs so I was able to go back.

If you have the Pro version you don't need to use the explorer trick above you can either flatten the PDF or use print to PDF not microsoft PDF but this won't work if you only have the reader. HappyHippyDad - Esteemed.

Hi Steve, I've got quite a few questions about the form relating to it's layout, incompatibility with my computer, colour and size of the text and the font you have used. Could I have your home phone number to discuss all the above please?

Today if poss, I'll be up until midnight so will write again then if not heard from you. Reaction score 3. Hello Steve, Happened to see this thread whilst looking at the new look forum. BS Modification Certificate. BS D. This is usually issued at the completion of an electrical design, installation or repair project to show that the job was carried out in accordance to the relevant safety requirements and meets the accepted health and safety standard. In January , a law was passed whereby all work on electrical installations in homes, offices and commercial buildings across Britain would be required to comply with a particular standard.

In the UK, this standard is the BS requirements for electrical installations; it was put in place to serve as a guideline for electrical installations and to protect against shoddy workmanship or the use of substandard materials. Jenny, if the work was done properly you should have had two documents. The Electrical Installation Certificate issued by the electrician or company who actually did the work and ii the Part P building regulation certificate sent by post.

If the work was notified then this Part P notification, as you have suggested, will be on a database somewhere.

The key to finding out however, required you to know the date the work was notified and the full details of the company making the notification.

If you can find out which scheme they belonged to, then contacting the respective organisation could help get a duplicate part P cert issued. The position you are now in is difficult. This is likely to be costly and you do run the risk of their interest being raised around the non compliance. Generally they are sympathetic but could prosecute. You can get an electrical installation condition report carried out which is normally accepted by the local authority or solicitors in these instances.

Its best to check with them first but its quite common this scenario you are in and we have carried out EICR checks for clients in the past with building control approval.
